When I started approaching 40, very rapidly, I decided that a new journey was in order. Now I have turned 40 and the journey is in progress. There have already been a few bumps in the way, and things are about to change again, but whatever happens, this is my journey towards becoming a photographer. People, places, resources, hopes, fears and most of all, a place to record the experiences and influences along the way.

I read this quote in a photography book and it has stuck in my head. I hope some of you may like to journey with me

“The path is set before me.

And my destination is unknown

But on the winding road of life

I know I must journey alone“
